The Weedoo machine resembles an excavator on water and can scoop up excess seagrass, cleaning overcrowded ponds and lakes with lily pads, invasive grass, and more. Each Weedoo machine costs $75,000, and Manatee County purchased two. 

Manatee County officials believe Weedoo is a valuable investment for their employees, the community, and the waterways.
